And I do mean INTO. I was just waiting for him to ask me "to go with him." But he never did. We lost touch over the years, and when we reconnected last year, he told me how much he wanted to be my boyfriend...back then. The summer before senior year in high school. I was like why didn't you tell me? He said, he was waiting on me. Argh. Now, he's married with a child, and I'm gleefully taken and in love...it's like damn. But it's still somehow...nice knowing that I wasn't THAT far off the mark. And that hell...I was as likeable as I thought I was.
